The Virtual Fireside Chats: Beyond the Robe series, held in late 2020 and early 2021, was an idea sparked by members of the Diversity Committee. The idea was to encourage open conversations with members of the South Carolina judiciary. These legacy conversations, held on Facebook Live and broad cast via the SC Bar's website feature some of the judiciary's most prominent justices and judges as they talk about their journeys to the bench, lessons learned and sage advice for lawyers today.
